It’s sadly our last day in Australia. But, our students are still in great spirits. Some of them would wish to stay longer. In the morning, our students had to say goodbye to their host families. Everybody was emotional before to part from each other.
Today we went sightseeing and shopping in Sydney. First, we went to the Opera House. After that, we walked in the oldest area of Sydney called the Rock. Then we had lunch in the Commercial District. After lunch, we went to a park called Mrs. Masquarie’s Chair. We took pictures with a nice view on the Opera House and the Harbor Bridge. We also visited Saint-Mary’s Cathedral. Finally, we did a last stop at the University of Sydney before heading to the airport.
I sincerely think that this trip was a great success for our students. They all had a wonderful experience in Australia. They all improved their English, but more importantly they were able to get out of their comfort zone. I’m so proud of our 40 participants in this tour and home stay program in Australia.
